Welcome to my photoblog.My name is Brad, I will be posting photos here. Photos will be from vacations, day to day life, and the obscure. I am no professional. I just love taking pictures. Most of the pictures will be from my new Pentax *istDL but some will be from my Olympus D595, which yes, I know, it is a point and shoot but I have some nice shots on that thing. My wife and I have a two film cameras. A Nikon F90X which is the same as a N90S but it was a ton cheaper. It has a 28-105mm macro lens which is sweet, that thing can focus on anything. The other camera is a Pentax ZX-7 which I share a 28-80mm lens with my *istDL. Every now and then I might post a photo from those cameras. Just picked up a Nikon D80 with the 18mm-135mm lens! Very happy. Now I just need to get used to the Nikon's way of doing things which I like a lot better than the Pentax. I will be processing my photos through iPhoto for the most part. I do not like to do much to my photos. Now that I have the *istDL I will be shooting in RAW, which iPhoto just started supporting! I love the power and simplicity of iPhoto, but when I want to have some fun with a photo I will take it into Photoshop. Any comments are welcomed, my main purpose of the photoblog is to become a better photographer. |
